Someone asked how common SARS is in children and what advice we should be giving in the event a breastfeeding mother gets SARS. I have no answer to the advice question. But for our information, according to the CDC at http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/mm5213a1.htm
as of April 2, they have received 100 reports of suspected SARS cases from 28 states; 81 (81%) cases occurred among adults. Nine (9) cases occurred in children between the ages of 0 to 4 years. Five between 5 and 17. No deaths reported. David
