There are plenty of IBCLCs in Melbourne!
There are not many listed on the ILCA registry and it's not very
user-friendly as they are listed under suburbs rather than actual cities (or
towns). (And I see mine has my home address not any of my work addresses,
which I'll have to do something about.)
If your friend lives in Carlton, the easiest thing would be to ring the
breastfeeding clinic at the Royal Women's Hospital (in Carlton) and make a
time to come and see one of the LCs. Women come into the clinic for the day,
so several feeds can be observed, they can eat lunch, have a rest, etc. The
hospital provides the service (ie no charge).
