<<All our babies are in the nursery from 6am until the pediatricians round,

9am, whichever comes first. Then, the babies go out at 9, but are returned
to the nursery for the pedi visit if not seen in the am. It is not ok to
keep a pedi waiting, so babies are literally popped off the breast at a
moment's notice. We have a "choir" everyday also.
Dr. Gordon, you are an exception.>>
That's truly a crime. Even 18 years ago I had an enlightened ped who was
happy to do bedside exams in mothers rooms for his patients who were
breastfeeding. All the other babies were in the nursery, but my baby stayed with me.
