I have not seen the Texas pictures in question, but, if they are similar or
just of BF, then this is quite an embarrassment for Texas law. The defense
lawyer in the Texas case should use this PDF picture along with a bunch
others to show how ignorant, or for a gentler spin; how uninformed, some
people are. It just should be a matter of education and increased awareness
of what is the norm in the US and worldwide.
Nevertheless, the prosecutor or others should be held accountable if they
unnecessarily or inappropriately put this family through this mess due to
their being uninformed or ignorant of cultural norms.
