Lots of my patients [especially bottlefeeding ones] here in the Eastern
United States try these drops [Mylicon is a brand name here].   If my
parents want to try them I tell them to go ahead and try, saying:  "Some
parents swear they work, others say they don't do a thing."
I've heard that there's studies on both sides. Personally, I think they
"work" by making the parent feel better....
