i want to put together a comprehensive little package (if that's possible)
to give to the physicians and nurses in our hospital because what we are
realizing is that the battle continues and you know why? bc no one really
thinks formula (a lot or a little) is really a problem. i love the "watch
your language article" by diane weissinger and i'm currently printing out a
"hazards or formula" bibliography and will look through every single bit of
info i have at home. But, does anyone have ideas or a key word for me to
look in the archives to find something so perfect? we fear that we may
actually be losing a physician - previously fairly supportive and helpful.
she saw a mother crying today bc a nurse wouldn't give her a bottle so the
dr. wrote an order " to give formula by bottle as requested". the LC
worked with her for an hour earlier. the mom was tired. personnally, if i
was exhausted i would ask the nurse or anyone to attach the baby to me and
hold it there as needed if i was that EXHAUSTED. i'm new here and i'm sure
you get many same questions and comments coming around, i hope it's not
annoying...
