Barbara, Cathy, & Jan -

I will get to see baby again on Tuesday so will be able to see where baby is
as far as suck/swallow. I will see if mom would be willing to try finger
feeding again. We had done that for the first 4 days or so with a
periodontal syringe (don't have the feeding tube stuff) but the baby would
only take 20-cc/hr and that is why we went to the Haberman. I will look for
the gel paci's. (I just hope mom does not faint when I suggest a pacifier.
I don't think she has EVER heard me suggest one.)

I will let her know if baby is still very lethargic, that she may want to
ask the cardiologist about an ultrasound of the heart.

Jan, what you describe was actually kind of where I was thinking of going,
except that I had thought about concentrating the skim after it was
suctioned out with a periodontal syringe. After hearing from Rachel, I am
not so keen on concentrating it though. I will still think about maybe just
tossing some of it though.

Thanks for all of the feedback. I will keep everyone posted if she comes in
on Tuesday.
