No comfort, but this mom probably has some major cognitive dissonance going
on--she probably *knows* in her gut that you are right, but her head can't
handle the loss of trust in her dr. so she's going to simplify the conflict
by omitting your input.
I'm sorry this happened to you. If the ultrasound reveals a retained
placental fragment, and they wind up removing it, perhaps later on she will
rethink all this. But I wouldn't wait around for any apologies, iykwim.
