Might I add to Jan's post that Growing Families Int'l. in its continuing
efforts to
reinvent itself has renamed its entire religious curricula to "Let the
Children Come....Along the Infant Way (was Preparation for
Parenting/Babywise)," etc., etc. see www.ezzo.info for more information--or
GFI's own website: www.gfi.org Also, our friends down under should be very
concerned that GFI is making a HUGE push into New Zealand and Australia,
launching Childwise, its secular version of previously named "Growing Kids
God's Way," now called, "Let the Children Come...Along the Virtuous Way."

They are exporting this rot into Dr. Hartmann's own backyard:

On page 8 of the Weekend Extra, The West Australian Saturday Febuary 22
2003:

"Parenting by the Book"

The American founders of a Christian-based parenting program are in Perth to
launch a new video series on raising "good kids". Their program is practised
by millions of parents worldwide. But, say some experts, it can do more harm
than good. Carmelo Amalfi reports.

I encourage Lactnetters down under to each do your part to alert HCPs and
clergy to how insidious this stuff is. Helpful resources are listed at
www.ezzo.info and feel free to contact me off-list if I can be of any help
in specific instances.
