Not at all! Sushi as such isn't contraindicated when pregnant - but raw
fish is because of the potential for Listeria infection, so as most
sushi is made with raw fish, people tend to slap on a blanket
contraindication. I had plenty of home-made California rolls (cooked
fish/prawn and avocado) and cooked-salmon sushi while I was pregnant!
In breastfeeding, none of the listeria precautions apply - it is only
an issue in pregnancy. Here's some more information:
