Other colic things are "gripe water" British and Humphrey's #3 (Mexican). I
personally used to melt a red and white striped peppermint in 2 oz of water
and give it to my VERY colicky first baby. Colic makes parents feel so
helpless. I guess anything you believe in helps (whether it really does
anything physically or not :-) Have you ever seen a picture of the "colic
carry" position from LLL? I frequently demonstrate that to parents. I've
been showing them the swing and shush sound thing too :-)

"colic" in the breastfed baby is frequently Oversupply Syndrome.

Colic is also a very culturally perceived thing. I don't believe they have
"colic" like we see in US in 3rd world countries. Anyone know? Thanks, Pat
in SNJ
