As a general rule I also accept donations to charity in my name. If they
ask for my preference I suggest that any of the programs with which I work
or the local food bank. I do accept thank you cards and occasionally am
given presents made by young children which along with the dandelions and
wild daisies are my favorite.  One year a doctor I had helped gave enough
to sponsor a series of christmas parties at 3 of the locations where I run
program!  It was a great treat for the participants and one of the nicest
presents I have ever received.
