This is my first time posting on lactnet so to introduce myself, I am a
British Midwife working in Germany providing primary care to the British forces
community over here. I am a civilian and employed on a contract from UK. We
work to Uk guidelines and aim to provide a comprehensive service to the
families stationed here.  I passed my IBCLC last year and have been heavily involved
with providing breast feeding support for many years, too many to mention!
I am aiming to set up a guidelines/ protocol group here and would like to
work towords baby friendly status in our community in Germany, we work with a
wide range of health professionals including health visitors and GP's,
training is a very big issue.
 I have a question for all you experienced Lactnetters, I have searched the
archives but maybe I have missed the answer. I have a mother who is currently
feeding her 18 mnth old and is now just 8 wks pregnant. she plans to
continue feeding but has many concerns and questions re tandem feeding. I have
discussed her concerns at length and aimed to reassure her but she would dearly
love to have some other info to send to her husband as well(he is posted away
at the moment), does anyone know of any good parent education leaflets
regarding this, especially any UK ones but  from anywhere would be of interest to
me.
