I do not recommend discarding the milk. I don't recommend for mastitis
either, why for yeast then? Now if a mother/baby dyad were having recurrent
persistent problems with yeast then I might recommend the scalding or some
more interventions. By the way, I live in the very hot and humid Deep South
and I rarely see or hear about thrush on breasts/nipples. Of all the calls I
get for breastfeeding questions, problems, and concerns, a case of thrush is
a rarity.
