Re: << how are you? well the first thing i can think of is for her to use
that money for the body wrap instead by putting it into a bank account for
her child. geesh. >>
I'm coming out of the closet here. After listening to a couple of friends
swear they lost inches that stayed off for months after having a particular
bodywrap, I caved and had one a couple of days before my son's December
wedding. Didn't do a thing--not a 1/4-inch (not even a 1/4 mm) difference,
and the "treatment" was more than a couple dollars.
There are different kinds of wraps--inches loss (oh, sure), skin softening,
etc. In every case a wrap is elective. If the effect on BF and body are
unknown, putting off is an option. There are plenty other ways to lose
inches, get softer skin, etc. for a lot less money; although each may take
more time than that promised by the wrap ads. I'm all for moms spending the
money and treating themselves some other way--hand weights, a new hairdo,
clothing that fits her current body, etc. since she's saving the family
budget so much by BF.
<< could she be directed to a trusted physician or maybe dr dean edell the
radio medical doctor who would surely let her know this is a scam. >>
My friends still swear by it!
Karen
