Looking for info. Was unable to find anything in an archive search so
looking towards the group for info.
Pregnant mother has already been treated with Kwell for scabies with a
plan for Csection tomorrow. Physicians say that mom must then pump and dump
for 48 hours after delivery because of potiential for maternal skin
transfer/exposure to infant of the Lindane product.
Looking at Hale's state that it is transfered via breastmilk but that the
levels would be clinically insignificant, but I can't find anything on the
transfer of residue from mothers skin and infant risks.... While permethrin
products would have been a better option, it's too late to close the barn
door so any advise or lit that could answer this question is appreciated.
Thanks, Lisa Jones
