Hello All!
I generally don't post, but love to soak up all of your collective knowledge!
Yesterday I saw something that bothered me quite a bit and I was wondering
what everyone else's take was on it. While I was shopping at Target yesterday
I noticed they have started carrying Medela nipple shields. I find this quite
disturbing as I feel that nipple shields really only should be used under the
direction of a lactation professional who knows how to correctly use them.
I'm not sure Target knows what exactly it's selling, but what in the world was
Medela thinking? (OK, I know what they were thinking, MONEY.) I guess I'd
like thoughts from the rest of you to make sure I'm not blowing things out of
proportion.
Thanks,
Becca Haack, LLLL, Milwaukee, WI
