Ann,
I know just where you are coming from! I am also going through a
work situation where my choices will be to quit (definitely NOT an
option for a 63 year old with a hx of Cancer and not yet eligible
for Medicare insurance) or to "soft-pedal" the advice I give to
appease those with limited expertise in this area, but major
authority over our jobs. It is great that we have LN as a place to
vent. Another source is Lactchat. LC is on a break through the
holidays and sill resume in mid January.
While such situations are totally unfair and in our opinions
unethical, they are unfortunately a reality. Hang in there and do
the best you can. I am collecting complaints I don't feel I can
voice now and when I retire (16.5 months and counting! - I had hoped
to continue several more years, but the recent situation precludes
that) I will pass those concerns/ complaints to top level
management! In the meanitme, it feels good to at least write them
down and get them off my chest.
Winnie
