Hello, I'm in need of your collective wisdom.
I'm looking for the reference or the article that states that "Some babies
continue to be exclusively breastfed for
greater than 6 months, some up to 12 months of age. Babies 7 to 9 months
exclusively breastfed by their
choice appear to continue to thrive with hemoglobin levels being maintained
within a normal range. Careful
supervision of these babies is warranted, but forcing them to eat is not
indicated."
Anyone know where I can find it? Help is greatly appreciated......
Warmly,
Renate Rietveld, IBCLC
