Sadly, I am not surprised this poor mom is not getting support for bf her 2
y.o. Any mother bf a 2 y.o should be supported, but surely all should be
supporting this mom trying to keep her special child healthy!
If you search the Mayo health info website and thoroughly read all the stuff
about bf, formula feeding, and infant feeding in general, I would say they
are not very supportive of bf. Actually their stuff sounds alot like what
you would find in a formula brochure. So I wonder if she will get support
there. She would definitely get support from Dr. Jack or Dr. Jay so hope
she can find a good pediatrician.
Feeding an infant is probably the center of his/her healthcare the whole
first year, at least. So why aren't the pediatricians protecting,
supporting, and promoting bf?
