I have not heard about any such research.  Anecdotally, one mom has
reported that *something* about the cabbage made her young baby fuss.
She thought it was the smell and/or taste on her breasts.  This was
an experienced nursing mom, LLLL, third baby.  The fussing stopped
when she stopped the cabbage.
