Rachel,
Thanks for your input. As far as I know the lab numbers were correct as
subsequent levels were still high. They did measure direct/indirect bili
(conjugated/unconjugated)and the conjugated bili was near 1.0. There was no
trauma noted as in hematomas etc. Also as far as I know there was no
excessively high H/H. It just seems to me that the baby needs further workup
as to 'why' this occurred. Anyway if it was my baby I sure would want an
explanation.
