Here is the ultimate outcome of a mother being kicked out of a retail
store.  I posted about this a month ago and got some great responses and
help from Lactnet members, which was greatly appreciated.   The mother
decided to stage a nurse-in which happened this weekend.  For various
personal reasons I was not able to attend but I was told that it was
very upbeat and informative.  An M.D. and dad of a breastfeeding baby
spoke as did several others.  The local paper covered the story.  Ross
has issued a memo to all of its California employees regarding the law
protecting breastfeeding mothers.  Overall I think the situation was
handled well by both sides.  I thought you would be interested in
reading the story.
