Yes, I know of and have also worked with mothers who have exclusively
breastfed after breast reduction surgery. Treatment: nothing extra
special - normal good breastfeeding management, and a close watch on baby's
growth. One mother recently gave birth to a 26-weeker and provided *all*
the baby's requirements via pumping until baby eventually went to the breast
at about 5 months. She did use domperidone and fenugreek at one stage. Her
surgeon had told her she would not be able to breastfeed!
