Hello list members-
Today I had to refill a prescription for Albuterol (inhaler) for my asthma that has been pretty bad here lately. When I filled it, I read the enclosed pamphlet and was very upset by the words, in bold no less, "DO NOT BREAST-FEED" (while taking this medication). I know this to be a safe medication while pregnant AND breastfeeding, how do I go about discussing this with someone at Publix? I am not a IBCLC LC or a MD, I am a pregnant woman, RN, and breastfeeding mother to a 2 yo and will be breastfeeding at least as long this next baby, and hate that this kind of statement is plastered on their info sheet. Can anyone direct me in the right direction to make a change, hopefully?
Thank you very much!
Heather Davis
