After following this format for years I stopped doing so. I state at meetings
or were-ever that breastfeeding does not have advantages, but that not
breastfeeding (note: I do not say AIM!) increases physical, emotional and
pshychological health risks for both mom and child. Or I talk about the
specifics of breastfeeding, like how breastsuckling furthers the development
of the oronasal anatomy or how colostrum furthers the refinement of baby's
guts. In this format I emphasize that breastfeeding is the completion of
baby's development in utero. This, I think, normalises breastfeeding.
