i Fully agree, but this specialisationshould come from within the LC field,
i.e. LC-preterm, LC-newborn, etc, not from adding another profession to it.
Example. I have 2 professions: primairy school teacher and LC. My first
schooling was kindergarten, then I had additional training for primairy
school (6-12 years old)
Later I became an LC and I did an additional training *as LC* for adult
teaching, to be able to teach hcp's about lactation. So in my capacity as
LC-teacher I do not use my school teacher's education, but the LCs
specialication. So if I'm hired as an LC-teacher it not because of my
capacities as a school teacher, but because of being a specialized LC.
Warmly greeting,
Gonneke
