But sometimes, when I read Lactnet posts, it sounds like those of you who
are in the health care system are constantly battling outdated information
and attitudes. I don't think I would be up for those kind of battles on a
regular basis.
Or is it just that I'm hearing the vents?

No, Jean, it isn't just that you hear these vents, we do battle these
attitudes on a daily basis. I'm trying to hang on to the fact that, despite a
very up hill battle, we somehow manage to help moms and babies. And heaven
knows, if we weren't out there doing it, who would? This is really a pep talk
to myself after a particulary discouraging day in the trenches.
