Oh, I'm sorry, I cannot pass up the chance to chime in
here!
My extra-special Ma, now approaching 80 years old, was
fortunate enough to only get some significant
"drooping" of the breasts starting in her mid- to
late- 60's (she did breastfeed 3 babies, for about 6-8
weeks each). She always wore a bra for modesty, but
was one of those women who didn't really "need" one.
Ma was fascinated when I told her about reconstructive
surgery to correct the "settling" of breast tissues.
However, she saw no need for all those incisions
around the breast. Her comment was, "Why don't they
make the incision along the clavicle, just give
everything a good yank upwards, and stitch it in
place?!"
Call me weird, but I thought this was HYSTERICALLY
funny, and we laughed until we had to wipe our eyes!
Hope y'all here will enjoy it, too!
Carole
