I forgot to add 1 more thought to my last post regarding supplements for the
exhausted mom p/t milk *coming in*......
Many have posted regarding factors contributing to exhaustion in the
postpartum Mom and while all are valid, given the most *perfect* postpartum
circumstance there will still be some babies who want *more* than Mom can
give!. IME, these are often the larger, more alert babies who really expect
that milk to be there about 12-18hrs. before it appears.
We need to be flexible and have contingency plans to help in every
circumstance.
