Bob just gave me the Letters to the Editor in the July/August 2003 "Sleep
Review" journal. The comment is: The two-part series by Brian G. Palmer, DDS,
on breast-feeding [sic] and its link to lingual development -- "The Uniqueness
of the Human Airway" in the March/April 2003 issue and "Prevention--The Key to
Treating OSA/SDB" in the May/June issue--prompted an outpouring of responses,
detailed below:
Six letters, all very positive, and very complimentary of our own Brian and
his work were published from all over the world. Authors of said letters:
Charlotte Bodven, IBCLC -- le Bretonneux, France
Catherine Watson Genna, IBCLC -- NYC
Alison Blenkinsop, IBLCC -- Aldershot, England
Maureen Barnard, George, Southern Cape, South Africa
Margaret Wills, IBCLC -- Maryland
Antonella Sagone, IBCLC -- Rome, Italy.
I wonder if any other article they've published in this journal has gotten
such a unique world-wide reception & response. I bet the editors were
absolutely tickled to death.
Good on you, everyone!
