I see what Dr. Anne Montgomery sees. Women having surgery just because they
were told their baby is soooooo big they PROBABLY won't be able to have a
vaginal delivery anyway. UNBELIEVABLE??!! It happens all of the time. And
then surprise, some of these babies are normal size or smaller!!!!!! I don't
understand why women aren't more concerned with their own health (and their
baby's) and risks related to unnecessary surgery. I have taken a break from
teaching childbirth classes because it is so depressing. (And I was sick and
tired of defending my teaching with research based info!) Many of our Doctors
want to work 9-5. They feel they deserve it after so many years of being an
OB. These exact words were used to our Director when she confronted them at
a meeting.
Frustrated as usual, in South Florida.
