Hi Alis,
The deaf community is probably the most isolated from breastfeeding
services. It would be great if you were able to do consults in sign.
I have worked with mothers with epilepsy, blindness, cerebral palsy,
paraplegia, and chronic medical conditions. Moms who have already
overcome a lot in their lives can bring the strengths they have gained
through overcoming these challenges to their breastfeeding relationship
as well. It can be very fulfilling to work with these women.
