Jay said, ""Listening To your Baby" is an "attachment
parenting" which guides parents month by month through
the first year of life as if they were getting
checkups in aBF/AP/family bed pediatrician's office.
It is wildly controversial and deserving a crossfire
and even opprobrium here on Lactnet. "Good Nights"
seems to weirdly advocate sleeping and cuddling your
baby for months and years. It is a wild departure
from the norm and should probably be scrutinized,
criticized and even skewered by list members. OK?"
Jay, I'll try to get your books and skewer them. I
imagine that it will take an awful lot of nit picking
to find fault though. :-) "We" all know and love
you, whereas the previously mentioned author was new
here. He has borne the comments with grace and
patience.
I did notice the oddest thing recently though. One of
my favorite books was sitting on the top of my huge
stacks of books and your name popped off the cover;
"Smart Medicine for a Healthier Child". I have no
idea when your name suddenly appeared there as the
author of the forward. :-P
