Having just had my second grandchild <grin>, there were a few items I had
never seen that are now part of my son and daughter in law's favorite
things - and would be inexpensive to add:
A bath water thermometer - theirs is a little floating boat, but I see that
Noodle Soup had a little fish. As many of my clients have few toys, the
idea of a toy that is also a safety tool is great!
A finger cot that also is a soft-bristle toothbrush - I give them credit
for starting this habit very early - as soon at the first tooth erupted -
if not sooner, as my older grandchild, Justin (age 2), liked to have his
gums rubbed with it. He has never known a bedtime when he didn't get his
teeth brushed - so now there is no fighting with him - but they started
this very early, so this would be a good teaching tool.
