"Should you feel guilty for NOT breastfeeding?"
Andrea Pennington, M.D
December 13, 2002
"With recent headlines about how breastfeeding may lead to improved adult
IQ, many career women have expressed some frustration and even guilt about
their decision not to breastfeed. While children who are breastfed have
better neuro-developmental outcomes, whether this is a biological or
nutritional effect, an environmental effect, a genetic effect, or some
combination of these factors is unclear. So, you shouldn't feel like you've
let your child down. At least not yet."

Rather disappointing.
