Just for the record, "common sense" does not have a universally consistent
definition. As a bilingual, bicultural person, I have years and years of
experience finding that what is common sense when I wear one set of
cultural shoes does not match with what is common sense when I wear another
set of cultural shoes. People who seem to have no "common sense" are
actually likely to have it--by another culture's definition.
