If in the mood to get agitated, read on:
On show "Good Day Live" on Fox channel here, a report about the AAP guideline
that, since Br milk does not have sufficient Vit D, babies who are Bf should
receive vit D supp from 2-17 months, or "until babies are taking at least 17
ozs of *fortified* milk daily", ....I did not hear any mention of skin type,
climate, sunlight, etc..........
the reporter added "ask your pediatrician about this because sometimes these
medical reports get reported but later get challenged"
....a young women asked for clarification and it was repeated that the reason
for this AAP advice is because br milk does not have sufficient Vit D,
....the young woman then tensed up her face with a negative expression and
murmured hmmm, ok
....it looked to me as if she was looking into her future and thinking; well,
so much for that breastfeeding stuff.
