In response to Sara's comments about never seeing a frenuloplasty, I will
give an "Historical" perspective.  (Age does have some benefits)  As a nurse
in the nursery in my young days, I saw pediatricians on routine exams clip
them routinely.  In those days, they didn't even get informed consent!!  They
just went and told the mother what they had done so the child would not have
feeding and speaking problems.  One issue today is that only a specialist
will do it and charge a significant amount of money for the procedure, so I
suspect insurance companies are reluctant to pay for the procedure.  As to
the "dangers, I refer the reader to Dr. Jack's book.  If he doesn't think so,
it should be good enough for us.
