I apologize if this has been covered previously. I did an archive search,
and while I learned many very interesting things about Paxil, this was not
one of them!
I recently started a mom on low-dose Paxil due to extreme anxiety. Mom
called on day 3 (having taken just 2 doses) to say she thought her milk
supply was decreased. I cannot find any reference to Paxil affecting
supply, has anyone noticed a decrease in supply in a patient?
The mom in this case is quite anxious to begin with about many things, one
of which is her supply. Baby is a few days shy of 4 mos, birth weight 7
lbs. 12 oz, now nearly 20 lbs, exclusively breastfed (that's 12 lbs over
birth weight!)
Would appreciate any comments on Paxil and milk supply.
