Sears' The Breastfeeding Book, p. 75 says:

"Studies show that 30 grams of a soy protein supplement a day can
produce a 25 percent increase in the volume of a mother's milk."

I wonder which studies, and have you found this to have any effect if
mom says supply is low(ish)?

PS. I can't remember Lawerence or Riordan&Auerbach mentioning this,
and wasn't able to find now that I tried to leaf through. Search in
Lactnet archives was useless since I probably couldn't find
appropriate search words - I kept on getting just too many hits, and
with this modem it is pain to go through the archives anyway :( , so
forgive me if this has already been discussed.
