Dear Lois,
Oh, boy, do I remember the nights of soaked and stinky
sheets...! A firm, stretchy bra (NO WIRES) at night,
lined with 2 pads per cup, helped some. I found the
large, disposable Evenflo brand pads worked best for
nighttime leaking. I also had a couple of quilted
waterproof bed pads that I used to keep my bottom
sheet dry. I don't know that I would recommend
pseudephedrine (Sudafed) without checking with Mom to
see if it makes her hyper/insomniac.
If baby just started sleeping through, things will get
better with "tincture of time", just as you said.
