Hi All,
Just wanted to ask you all about a new product. These are a new type of breast pad that works to "stop" leaking by keeping a mild pressure on the tips of the nipples. It is a semi-sticky silicone pad that clings to the breast. The manufacturer claims that the mom does not need to even wear a bra. Has anyone had any experience with these yet? Do they work? Do they contribute to the development of plugged ducts? The sales rep claimed that they don't, but I thought the sample size she mentioned that they tested these with was very small (somewhere around 36). What do you all think?
