Last Friday, as I was getting ready for a Christmas party we were attending, I decided that since my three-year-old daughter would not be coming with us, I didn't have to wear my functional and comfortable, (but certainly not delicate or beautiful), nursing bra.

So I dug out my fancy lacy bras from my pre-children days, and finding one whose elastic wasn't rotten, put it on.  My daughter walked in while I was just in bra and panties, and immediately noticed the "new" bra.

"Ma, its so pretty!  I like this!" she said, as she patted my breast, touching the lace on the bra.  The look on her face, made me realize she thought I was wearing the bra for HER appreciation.  After all, my breasts were for HER, right?

Made me think about who REALLY appreciates the beauty of the female breast.
