Hi All,
I, too, have watched Dr. Phil and have seen him dispense some really good
advice. However - what I have seen is stuff that should really be common
sense relationship tools. He has yet to give out anything thta I would
personally consider "Amazing" advice. His demeanor is to me, and I
wholeheartedly agree with Dr. Jay - self-important, arrogant...dangerous.
Some of the ways he speaks to people - good grief. I often wonder what
happens to those folks when they go homw and one says to the other - "You
let him embarrass me on national TV!" One last thing - his information is
for ADULT couples. Totally different creature than mom/baby dyad...where
baby has needs NOT wants and moms should be encouraged to meet baby's needs
first...then her own. Better yet - get the rest of the family to meet moms
needs so she is better able to meet baby's needs.
Hey, maybe I should go on Oprah and be the new TV shrink for moms and
babies...it could happen... ;)
