Wendi,
I'm afraid I won't be much help.  I'm just wondering where dad was when she
was nursing her daughter 'til age 4.  Why didn't he object then if he
thought it was so awful.  My guess is that he agreed and supported the idea
and his attorney thinks it would be a great point to bring into court.  If
that's the case she could always respond with something like, "My (then)
husband and I were in agreement that continuing the nursing relationship was
beneficial for the physical and emotional well being of our daughter.  I'm
baffled that he now claims it was harmful."

Good Luck to you and this mom.  These cases make me so sad.
