When my son was in a NICU here in Southern CA (2 yrs ago) for 10 days they
gave me the little Ross bottles. They were convenient in that I pumped
directly into them, put the lid on and then there were nipples that attached
for bottle feeding (I nursed him on demand during the day once he was off
the ventilator and he was bottle fed 2 or 3x overnight by the nursing
staff). SO no hands touched the milk. The only problem for me was that I
had an abundant supply so sometimes I ended up stopping half-way through
pumping and changing bottles; they only held about 3 oz or so, I think.
