The same people who taught parents that pain-free medicated childbirth
should be the norm rather than the exception. It's the me generation at
work - what's good for me, I'll do. Babies sleeping through the night is
good for me, therefore I'll do whatever it takes - after all, they won't
remember it anyway :-(. Childbirth with pain? No way! I'll have that
epidural as soon as I can get it. If harm is done to the baby, it can be
fixed - doctors know how to do everything.
YUCK.

Who has taught parents that it is safe, even preferable to ignore and
control babies? .html
