I have been asked by one of our employees in Physical Therapy who is working fulltime exclusively breastfeeding her daughter to post this question. She is interested in doing a research project on carpal tunnel and tendonitis in breastfeeding women as she sees it so commonly in her practice. She has done some library searches and has come up with very little literature. Do any of you wise ones know of any good published articles on this subject. Any unpublished research would also be welcome. I think her intent is to develop positioning while breastfeeding and exercises that would limit this problem.
Thank you for help you can give.

We have applied for our Level 3 NICU status and I will be doing inservices for the nurses in the next month or two on feeding. There was a good video that came out in the last year that was recommended here but I must be using the wrong wording in the archives because I haven't found it. Could someone email me the title and where you got it? This is my opportunity to "retrain" some of the existing staff (we have a Level 2 nursery) as well as the new residents on the importance of skin-to-skin, early exposure to colostrum, alternate feeding methods, etc. I need to make it GOOD but KEEP IT SIMPLE, STUPID("KISS")!!!!-something they will WANT to practice!
Thanks for your wisdom!
