Had a mom a while back that still had the rings in when she delivered!
She had intended to have them removed before, but delivered a couple
weeks early.  She stated it was something she had done in "her younger,
wilder" days.  Believe it or not, she actually nursed with them in place
for several days until she could get them removed-and the baby seemed to
be doing fine!.
